How to Move Forward With Confidence in a Post-COVID-19 World?
by James Robert Lay on May 11, 2020
Brief Summary of Episode #4
What do digital banking, Covid-19, and Frozen 2 have in common?
If you use a banking app, will Anna sing you a song about quarantine?
Can Olaf handle your online banking and sew you an excellent mask?
Not exactly.
However, I do tie these three points together as I answer a question I’ve received dozens and dozens of times over the past few weeks, “What can we do to move forward with confidence in this time of crisis, chaos and confusion?”
Courage is contagious.
And if you haven’t seen the movie Frozen 2 just yet… spoiler alert...one of the main characters, Anna, is in the midst of some pretty sad and depressing stuff as she sings:
“When it's clear that everything will never be the same again
Then I'll make the choice to hear that voice
And do the next right thing”
I can totally relate to what Anna was feeling at that point in the movie I’ve now seen too many times to count thanks to my four kids.
That’s why in this episode of Banking on Digital Growth, I share insights around:
- How you can confidently lead others with courage in a time of crisis
- How your financial brand can engage with account holders in a new way
- How Anna from Frozen 2 can help you and your team rally around a theme song that has become the battle cry for Jill Castilla, CEO of Citizens Bank of Edmond in Oklahoma… trust me… this is not kids stuff.
So what are you doing right now to protect your courage and confidently share it with others?
Key Insights and Takeaways
